Fathom is a tile-laying, pattern-building game of deep-sea exploration. Players take on the roles of competing marine biology teams, racing to uncover the secrets of an uncharted underwater ecosystem surrounding a mysterious island.

Over six fast-paced rounds of simultaneous play, guide your team’s boat and submersible across the ocean, scanning the depths and placing discovery tiles that reveal signs of marine life. Each round features shared sonar boards, bag swapping, and clever tile placement as players create scoring patterns and compete for points. The box includes four replayable expeditions, each with unique species and gameplay twists.
